There’s a color pattern here… and blue IS my favorite color

Your Brain is Blue

Of all the brain types, yours is the most mellow.
You tend to be in a meditative state most of the time. You don’t try to think away your troubles.
Your thoughts are realistic, fresh, and honest. You truly see things as how they are.You tend to spend a lot of time thinking about your friends, your surroundings, and your life.

What Color Is Your Brain?

I should have known. I really should have known. And I needn’t have spent any time taking a quiz on a Sunday afternoon :)

I like to encounter some frolic in a Carmelite’s site; wasn’t it St. Teresa of Avila herself who said, “May God save us from gloomy saints”?

Green brain, here (of course)–and thankfully, these quizzes are 100% accurate! The results did not mention it, but we Green-Brains can grow quite weary of our own commenting, so if ever that drifts off from where any can see, know that it’s likely just a case of gone-fishin’.

Mine is green too, Justme….my family would definitely agree with that.
By all accounts, St. Teresa had some colourful moments, and that gives us all a wee bit of a green light for frolic every now and again - Carmelites and non - Carmelites alike?

Yes, frolic - a gloomy saint is no saint at all.

Interestingly, this is something I have been pondering lately - the element of “playfulness” and “childlikeness” in souls who have learned to trust completely in the Father Who loves them.

It seems it is only those who have been freed from fear and need by their total trust can be truly joyous and playful. We all know these moments, but blessed indeed are those for whom this is the usual state of their souls!

I have been blessed to know just a couple of souls like this - truly free, and so free to frolic!

Yes, Ann. And yes, kt, me too–one of them is about 100, now, and she’s still in no hurry to go Home!
