Exhaling

The sky is the only omnipresence we all accept. So look up!

I’m back… sort of

No, the tent hasn’t collapsed, nor have I fallen off a cliff…

Still here, editing the Stations, working with the artist, formatting a new book for a friend. Wondering, when I read what has been written and see how poorly my own writings hold meaning, whether I should write another word while I am on this planet.

But, I am writing these words now, to let you all know that I am alive and well, and no Greek tragedy has befallen me or any of those I love. Still here, supported by your prayers and the grace of God.

Thanks for checking back. Let’s continue to pray for one another.

+Pax.

:-) Welcome back.

The hardest part of life is trying to say Love into the world with our mere humanity. We can only do so with the whole of our lives –past, present, and future. Words, here in exile, may seem more often an excruciating crash-and-burn than a worthy articulation for all they do not say, but some are keys that unlock what we know-without-knowing. Especially in poetry. Your words are lovely.

:-) Welcome back.

kt, I’m reading, “Fresh Bread and Other Gifts of Spiritual Nourishment”, by Joyce Rupp, a monthly devotional and inspirational type of book. I’d like to share one of her poems with you, which was in the section for August:

Jesus, you stand before me.
I feel it in my heart.
I sense you saying to me:

peace be with you,
in your pressing days.
amid your fragmentation.
within your loneliness.
with your concern of others.
among those you care for.
around your many questions.

peace, peace be with you,
for I am here. I am with you.
I offer you peace, my peace.
believe in me and my offer.

I will take you far beyond
all the fears, all the worries.
I will sink your spirit in calm,
in quiet, in truth, in me.

rest in me. rest in me.
peace be with you.

I’m glad to read that all is going well and your absense was due to nothing other than busyness…good luck and God’s blessings on your writing and new endeavours. Like Gabrielle, I would like to wish you what Joyce Rupp has expressed so well….my list of must reads is lengthening by the day.
