Exhaling

The sky is the only omnipresence we all accept. So look up!

I feel at home here already.

And soon, I hope to have imported all my previous posts from Blogger, so you will feel at home here as well.

Meanwhile, we can enjoy this silence while we prepare for Holy Week…

Hi Kathryn! Yes, it’s always rather a nuisance to have to move, but sometimes, it is unavoidable. Nice page!

Ah! You found me!

Like you, I am often wondering if I need to be here at all. But here I am…

My “jury” is still out on whether I need to be here at all; something tells me the world will not gasp, jump its axis and smack Antartica-first into Pluto if I should disappear.. but if public journaling and the discourse springing from it is today’s best alternative to gathering in person to muse the Lord, His will, His plan, His hopes for us rather than our questions of Him, to celebrate Him rather than self, an odd antidote to the outraged rending of garments and spilling of black-green bile all over an empty Tomb, then perhaps I ought to be, here, even if only as a leech to help bleed others of bilious poisons. (Tho’ I’d wanted only to be a little footpath into a beautiful Garden.) He works in mysterious ways, so we’ll see, but I’m glad you’re here.

I can’t agree more, Lily.
I know that no one will miss me if I’m gone, and yet, this IS today’s “best alternative to gathering in person” for the only conversation worth having.

Still, my presence in cyberspace is sporadic and does not define me. I think it is ok not to be everywhere, and leave omnipresence to Him ;)

If we gather here in quiet and peace, as rest in a wearying world, it is a good thing, I think. For now, I remain, and I am grateful for your company.

Well, Lily, that might just be enough to keep me here. Unless He has something else in Mind for me.

Hi, kt! Glad to see you at St. Blog’s! You’re way ahead of me in figuring things out. It looks great!

Well, that is wise as well as loving, Kathryn. The cyberworld has a tendency to trap folks into their onlineness in a presence which, as you say, does not fully define anyone. It’s good to step back and ask Him, “Is this what You want of me?”

Well, whatevvah, I hope you may stay a while.

Hi, Kathryn!
I’ll switch my bookmark tomorrow.
How about having an open mic sort of thread where we might bring up whatever is on our minds, from the mundane to the godly?

Congrats!
